화이트반스페이스(White Barn Space)는 2021년 봄부터 지금까지, 새로운 미술 세계를 펼치고자 하는 예술인들을 위한 공간으로 거듭나고 있다. 《영문도 모른 채 우리는》은 화이트반스페이스의 ‘드로잉 프로젝트(Drawing Project)’ 중 하나로 기획된 전시이다.
작가의 아이디어 스케치나 에스키스(esquisse)만으로 여겨지기도 하는 드로잉은 창작자의 모든 감각과 생각이 한 순간에 응축되어 나온 결과물이다. 완성과 미완성 사이에 있는 과정작이 아니라 온전한 작품으로서의 가치가 충분하다.
이번 전시의 작품들에는 아홉 명 작가들의 각기 다른 세계와 아이디어가 담겨져 있다. 즉흥적이든 단계적이든, 평면이든 입체든, 심지어 디지털 매체이든, 어떤 형식에도 구애받지 않은 드로잉들을 화이트반스페이스에서 만나보기 바란다.

From the spring of 2021 to now, WHITE BARN SPACE has been reborn as a space for artists who want to open a new world of art. 《We Still Know Nothing》 is an exhibition planned as one of WHITE BARN SPACE’s ‘Drawing Projects’.
A drawing, which is sometimes considered just a sketch or esquisse of an artist's idea, is the result of all the creator's senses and thoughts condensed in one moment. It has sufficient value as a complete work, not as a process work between completion and unfinishment.
The works in this exhibition contain the different worlds and ideas of nine artists. We hope to see drawings that are not limited by any format, whether spontaneous or step-by-step, two-dimensional or three-dimensional, or even digital media, at WHITE BARN SPACE.
