WHITE BARN SPACE DRAWING PROJECT
작가의 즉흥적인 아이디어 스케치나 에스키스(esquisse)만으로 여겨지기도 하는 ‘드로잉’은 창작자의 모든 감각과 생각이 한 순간에 응축되어 나온 결과물이다. 때문에 완성과 미완성 사이에 있는 과정작이 아니라 온전한 작품으로서의 가치가 충분하다. 드로잉을 통한 미적인 모든 감각을 소통의 형태로 공유하기 위해 화이트반스페이스에서는 매해 1회 프로젝트전시를 진행한다.
‘Drawing’, which is sometimes considered just an artist’s impromptu idea sketch or esquisse, is the result of all the creator’s senses and thoughts condensed in one moment. Therefore, it has sufficient value as a complete work, not as a process work between completion and unfinishment. In order to share all aesthetic senses through drawing in a form of communication, WHITE BARN SPACE holds a project exhibition once a year.

화이트반스페이스에서는 프로젝트를 통해 선보였던 드로잉 작품을 소장하여 아카이브를 구축하고 드로잉의 새로운 가치를 창출하는 전시들을 기획하는 ‘화이트반스페이스 드로잉센터’를 운영하고 있습니다.
WHITE BARN SPACE operates the ‘White Barn Space Drawing Center’, which collects the drawing works presented through the project, builds an archive, and plans exhibitions that create new value in drawing.
